Jacqueline S Kneale BA
Jacqueline (known as Jack) attended the University of East Anglia from 1980, leaving with a Hons degree in Development Studies in 1983.
Jack’s first job was with Marks & Spencer where she joined as Commercial Trainee – the start of a successful carrier in retail. She moved from the store side to the buying side early in her career and held a number of buying positions at both Sainsbury and Boots. Returning to Marks & Spencer in 1999, she was variously Buying Director for Beauty, Lingerie and Homewares.
In January 2006 Jack moved to Cape Town, South Africa. Here she started up two retail businesses: “Love Africa”, a homewares and clothing store focusing on locally designed and made articles and
“Mü & Me”, a stationery and greetings card brand that is now stocked in retail stores including Liberty, London. She has also been involved in fundraising initiatives in support of educational charities that work with the Township children of Cape Town.
Jack was appointed a Trustee on 24th October 2007.
