Sports Achievement Prize

The Sports Achievement Prize will be awarded annually to encourage greater involvement in sport during studies at UEA and the development of sporting expertise, commitment and achievement.

The value of the prize shall be £500.

All registered students of UEA are eligible to be nominated for the prize by fellow students and by staff.  Nominations shall be made on the basis of one or more sports-related achievement(s) in accordance with a timetable to be published by the Director of the Sportspark.

Nomination forms must be signed and submitted to the Director of the Sportspark by the end of February each year.  Only one student may be nominated by each student and member of staff. Students shall not nominate themselves.

The prize shall be awarded by a Committee consisting of a Trustee of the Peter Earl Foundation and the Director of the Sportspark, Norwich and will be presented to the winner at the annual Sports Dinner held at the Sportspark, Norwich.

If in any year no student is judged to be of sufficient merit, the prize shall not be awarded.
