Successes: Joe Datt
Joe has also used his passion for sport to help raise over £30,000 for charities, including National Children’s Homes and BIG C, the Norfolk based cancer charity, by organising sporting events ranging from football, through netball, fun runs and cricket.
Joe has proved himself to be a committed sports enthusiast and ambassador, who has made the best possible use of the opportunities available to him to do his best, help others do their best, and to use sport as a means of helping the less fortunate in the local community.
It was with very great pleasure that the Foundation awarded Joe the 2008 Sports Achievement Prize and a cheque for £500, which he received from the Vice Chancellor, Professor Bill MacMillan, at the UEA Physical Education and Sport Annual Awards Dinner on the 30th March 2008.
